• Have fun learning basic drum beats

• We cover the fundamentals of proper stick grip, posture, and learning to read basic beats

• You will develop four-way coordination between limbs

• Learn to play different styles of music

• Begin the fundamentals of reading drum set rhythms, notation, and basic charts

• We will explore different Rock, Jazz, and Latin drum beats, as well as an introduction to drum fills

• More experienced students may want to focus on further developing their technique and skills in the areas of reading, independence, taking a solo, endurance or, learning more about a specific style of music.
